Penang Hill or Bukit Bendera is one of the best and popular place to explore in Penang.
I bet you'll never regret your choice when you were here!
I bet you'll never regret your choice when you were here!
and for you information,
Bukit Bendera or Penang Hill is Malaysia's first hill station and it is 830 meters or 2730ft above sea level. Penang Hill Railway has been operating since 1923 ( it's before independence of Malaya).
Up the hill, there are several restaurants, souvenir stalls, a mosque, a Hindu temple to visit for...
and for those who would like to stay for another day here, don't worry ya.
there are bungalows for rent and a hotel here.

Honestly,
I think I was in oversea when I was here for the first time..
with the cold weather, the fantastic view at the summit, the picturesque colonial bungalows

HAHA maybe for some people that was funny, but for me, I really think like that.
With the accommodation and the building up there, I'm sure you might feel the same.
( OK, just for some people like me only :D)

I don't care haha - all I can say I really loved this place.
When I was there, I take a new train to go up the hill. It takes about 5 minutes only - quite fast.
But if you like something more challenging than sitting comfortably in the train, you might try this way.

There is a good walking track up the hill which takes about 4 hours to reach the top.
Fuhh, I'm pretty sure it must be really challenging
and I recommend this way only for those who has a good stamina.
The popular trails include the Moongate Trail, trail from Air Itam Dam to Tiger Hill,
trail from Hye Kyeat Estate and trail from Municipal Park (formerly Youth Park)

You know - I really wish I could bring my family for a vacation in here one day.
Perhaps that time we could spend a night here.
I'm sure the scenery on early morning must be amazing.
huhuu... ( in your dream)
